That was a solution in record time. Bravo.

Any alert couch potato can notice that there are truly wonderful things happening at ACTV, with leaders like Isaac Ben-Ezra, Alan Root, and others who are plugged into the needs of the community. The televising of Finance Committee and Planning Board meetings has been a tremendous addition to the cause of citizen vigilance in Amherst.

With over 18 minutes of commercial time for every hour of prime-time television, it's easy to tear yourself away from the follies of Madison Avenue to watch, for example, Alice Carlozzi and Company as they work hard, think hard, and ignore the cameras.

Because of this unique institution in town, there is no excuse for not knowing what's going on. The meetings are just a click away.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22213795.post-90995289997256357352007-11-01T15:52:00.000-04:002007-11-01T15:52:00.000-04:00Thanks James! ACTV must be taking its cues on television scheduling from Major League Baseball, another institution hell-bent on choking off its own audience.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
